The Lotus plants its roots in the muddy dark of night and emerges pure from the water each morning to reach sunlight.

So too Femme Soul was born…

As a women’s coach and mentor for over 10 years, I KNOW what women are capable of. On the verge of 50 with my family, career, and health all in check, sounds like I had it all daisies and roses, right?

Not so…it turns out I had yet to learn the way of the Lotus.

Have you ever unexpectedly found yourself in the middle of the mud? With immense resistance to the change within? As if an old self is falling away, and in its absence you are faced with a deep sense of grief, scarcity, and confusion as you try to make sense of it?

I didn’t know where this was coming from! But this experience is more common than not. And it’s usually a clear sign that we are out of alignment with our purpose and direction. But with knowledge and support, we have the power to find our way. And even create a better way!

So, I surrounded myself with my team of mentors and supporters. I embraced this as a learning process. I embraced what these waves of emotions had been asking for…
